I. Presentation

The aim of this website is to present all normative texts which are in force in Cameroon. Those texts are mainly in French as officially published. They are classified in systematic order divided in 9 domains (which are also subdivided in subcategory) with the following headings :

1. State-People-Authorities
2 Private law-Civil Justice-Enforcement
3. Criminal law-Criminal Justice-Execution of sanctions
4. Security
5. Education_Science_Culture_Art_Sport
6. Finance
7. Territory planning_Environment_Communications_Mines
8. Health-Employment-Social security
9. Economy


Below number 1 are gathered the normative texts which relate to the components of the State [People, territory, legislative Power (National Assembly, Senate), Executive Power (President of the Republic, Government and Public Administration), Judicial Power].  

Below number 2 are gathered the normative texts which govern reationship between individuals (civil status, family, succession, property law, obligations (contract and tort law), civil procedure.

Below number 3 are gathered the normative texts about general and specific criminal law. It includes texts on criminal procedure and prisons.

Below number 4 are gathered the normative texts which govern armed forces (police, army) but also some organized body (civil service, firefighter).

Below number 5 are gathered the normative texts on education (primary, secondary, high school), scientific research, culture, art, sport, games, weather, metrology.

Below number 6 are gathered the normative texts which allow State to function financially (Stat budget, taxes, taxes, charges, value added tax). There are also norms on banks, currency, public market, public entreprise.

Below number 7 are gathered the normative texts linked to organisation of the territory. It includes on one side those on environment, territory planing, urban planning, tourism, natural reserve, water, fauna and flora. On the other side, those on subsoil (energy, mines). In the end, there are texts concerning commuincation within territorial space (telecommunications, post, transport, media).

Below number 8 are gathered the normative texts on health, medecine, pharmacy, employment and social security.

Below number 9 are gathered the normative texts on commercial laws.  There are norms of primary sector (agriculture), secondary sector (industry) and tertiary sector (services).
